Curved backrest
The backrest of the Fontenay armchair is made of solid, closely-placed teak slats. Their shape is modelled according to one of the most unusual curvatures, that of the human spine.
Rounded armrests
The armrests of plantation teak are pleasant to the touch and relax the body.
Comfortable seating surface
The large seating area of teak is shaped three-dimensionally for it to really fit the body. It is rounded at the front to improve upper leg comfort.
Long-term use
For easy and long-term outdoor use, all bolts of the joints are made of stainless steel, in rust-proof bearings. Polyamide runners under the seat ensure a smooth folding action and protect the powder-coated metal.
Indestructible frame
The frame is made from galvanised, and therefore rust-protected, powder-coated steel. When folded, the armchair is only 15 cm deep.
Protection for sensitive flooring
Foot gliders of hard-wearing synthetic material protect valuable flooring from scratches.
