Frequently Asked Questions
How do I find the most suitable parasol for my seating arrangement or recliner?
Choose the table, which best corresponds with your own table. The most suitable parasols are then indicated in the list.
If the place you wish to shade is not exposed to the sun all day, a smaller parasol may suffice.
Please note: All parasols marked with an asterisk (*) must, because of the length of the ribs, be placed at a distance of 150cm from the table. These parasols cannot be set up in the middle of the tables. Due to the integrated telescope mechanism all Calabria Comfort parasols can be closed directly above the table.
When choosing take into consideration possible hindrances.
a) to the side, for example walls or railings. The ribs of the large parasols reach almost to the ground. When being closed they can easily bump against walls, railings or furniture. In our shop parasols requiring a sideways clearance of 1,50m for closing are noted.
A solution to this problem is the model Calabria Comfort which, on closing, moves upwards with the help of a telescopic pole. In this way, even the large 5m parasol can be opened without hindrance. However, it is necessary to allow for more space above the parasol.
b) above, for example trees, roofs. You will find the heights of the parasols in our shop. If you choose wheels you need to calculate, in addition to the height of the stand (1-1,5cm), an extra 7cm.
Please take into consideration that the model Calabria Comfort, with its telescopic pole, requires considerably more space above it. Other measurements apply to swivel parasols as the stands are higher and they have no wheels.
