Terms and Conditions (UK)

The purchase contract is subject to English law.

Prices

All prices mentioned here are in GBP, including value added tax. For deliveries within the UK mainland, these prices include all costs for postage, packing and freight; in other words, shipment of all our items to your address is free of any additional charges. With an order from £ 2,500 we grant a discount of 5%, and from £ 5,000 a discount of 10% is given. The discount is based on these amounts for a single order which also applies to all subsequent orders made within a two-year period. We reserve the right to determine deliverability and to modify prices. Please appreciate that we cannot be held liable for errors in price quotations.

Payment

When ordering, you can pay with the credit cards Visa, Mastercard and Amex and the debit cards Delta and Switch, or by cheque. Please give us the credit card number, expiry date, your full name and the three digit security numbers. Cheques should be made out to Garpa Garden & Park Furniture Ltd, with your name, cheque guarantee card number, guaranteed amount and the expiry date written on the reverse side. We do not charge your credit card until the day of dispatch. Cheques will be deposited in our bank when we receive them. After delivery an invoice will be sent to you by mail. Place of fulfilment and jurisdiction is London. The merchandise remains our property until final payment has been made.

Sales order confirmation

Every order is confirmed in writing. You will receive the invoice by mail after completion of delivery.

Delivery free of charge to your address

Delivery within the UK mainland is free of charge to your address. You will be notified in advance by the shipment agencies with whom we have service contracts. Delivery is made either to the billing address or to a different delivery address specified by you, as you request. Furniture will be delivered within three weeks, unless you request a later delivery date. Please allow a delivery time of five to eight weeks for the Pablo and Vasco chairs as well as the solid Centro and Rialto tables as these are made to order.

Assembly

Almost all pieces of furniture are delivered completely assembled. Whatever has not been put together by our craftsmen will be assembled on site, with all packing material taken back by Garpa.

Unlimited right to return

Within one month after delivery you have an unlimited right to return delivered items. We are sure you understand that specially and individually manufactured items are exempt from this policy. Please contact us regarding the free pick-up.

Warranty

We offer a special five-year warranty on all furniture. This warranty covers all flaws which, with normal usage, can be attributed to material or manufacturing flaws. All other items have a warranty of two years.

Data protection

As a matter of course, we promise to comprehensively protect your personal data following the legal regulations set forth in the UK data protection legislation. In addition, we guarantee that as a Garpa customer your address data will not be passed on to third parties.

Deliveries abroad: Spain, France, etc.

We will gladly deliver to all holiday areas in Europe. Please enquire by phone about procedures and freight surcharges.

Reservations

All elements of the Garpa website - visual and audio, including relevant technologies - are protected by copyright. They are the exclusive property of Garpa. Any hypertext linking to the Garpa site through the use of framing or in-line linking technology is expressly prohibited. In any case, linking, even if it were tacitly accepted, must be discontinued upon simple request by Garpa.

Garpa cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage resulting from using the Internet, specifically from an interruption of the connection, a computer virus, outside interference or, generally speaking, in cases of force majeure as confirmed in court of law.
